I finally got the video done and uploaded to You Tube.  Now I can cross off “post pictures from the North Dakota trip” off my list.  😀

    Interesting that though they had fewer resources and weren’t as “advanced” as we are now, that some of their items (baskets, bowls etc) are nicer than some of ours today.

    By the way, I’ve seen boats similar to the one you snapped a picture of on The Amazing Race they look very difficult to use. Bad balance=taking an impromptu swim.

    • I agree. Some of the Mandan stuff is beautiful to look at and have stood the test of time. I take a coat home from Target or Walmart and it won’t make it through one winter.

      I wondered how those boats worked in real life. They don’t look that practical.
