Last Day of the Contest

Quick note: My entire household (myself included) has had the stomach bug and a cold.  We’re still sick, though I will say today I finally have some energy back.  I haven’t been able to do any writing or blog posting.  I plan to announce contest winners tomorrow and will email the winners.

I am going to sort through contest entries today.  Today is the last day of the contest to win a copy of Shotgun Groom by me and Driscoll’s Lady by Paula Freda.

Pretty much everyone who entered wanted to name Mitch’s kids.  However, I do have other characters who haven’t been named yet.  Like in To Have and To Hold, I’m at the point where Mary and Dave are in Maine meeting her family, and she has all those brothers and sisters.  Or there’s Mitch’s mom.

Oh, and I’ve decided Mitch’s kids aren’t really his.  They are his brother’s.  I’m thinking his brother lost his wife in childbirth and took up drinking, so Mitch took the kids and lives with his ailing mother.  This is a guy who needs a wife in the worst possible way.   So anyway, I can find use of the names.

Well, I’m off to do more laundry.  I’ll post the winners tomorrow.  😀

There’s someone who entered my contest via my website, but all I received was the word “contest”.  I’d be happy if this person would fill in the comment box so I know what the entry is.  🙂  The person’s name is  Catherine H.
