Bargain Books for Your Nook Blog

You all remember Rose Gordon, right?  I was doing a contest and lumped her books in with mine.  If I remember right that was during the summer or right before it?  Good grief.  It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago.  Here my kids think Christmas can’t come soon enough, and I’m struggling to understand where the year went?  LOL

Anyway, Rose is the one who came up with the idea of creating a blog dedicated to finding Nook books $4.99 or less.  Since I now understand how many Nook readers I have (and I did buy a Nook back in July), I thought this sounded like a good idea.  To be fair to my Kindle readers (and yes, I even have a Kindle), I have a link to Daily Cheap Reads in the Us and Daily Cheap Reads in the UK to the right of this blog.  You have to scroll down to my links, but they’ve been there since I put this blog up.  🙂  I even have links on my website.  Oh, I’ll need to link the Nook one to my website, too.

Anyway, Rose and I are administrators of this new blog, and we’re trying to think of ways to make it fun for people who visit it.  Something we’ll be doing very soon is a Christmas Giveaway and a New Year’s Giveaway.  Since we just got this blog up, the authors we know who are willing to join in the giveaways are limited.  We’d like to offer a variety of genres and hopefully do bundling of genre books that suit each reader, so romance readers could pick the romance bundle while sci-fi lovers can choose a sci-fi bundle.  Right now, we are lumping the genre books together.  But since we understand that some people may not be happy to get a book that is in a genre they aren’t interested in, we’ll add 2 books of the winners’ choice to the list when they win.  Details on the giveaways will be on the blog.  We plan to run one giveaway each month.

In addition to that, we’d also like to have a Freebie Friday where we post up Nook books free on B&N.

The rest of the time, we’ll be featuring books $4.99 or less to help people find the good deals out there.

So if anyone knows of great books they’ve read on their Nooks, we would love to know what they are and feature them on the blog.  Right now, it’s mainly our stuff, and while we’ll feature our new releases in the future, life would get boring if all we did was our books.  So I’m asking for your help in passing along any good books you’ve read $4.99 or less on to others.  You can give me the B&N link in the comments on this post, and I can make the posts on the Bargain Books for Your Nook blog.

Also, feel free to subscribe and/or Like our Facebook page!  I think this has the potential to be a lot of fun.  😀

I’ve added bargain books for your nook to my wordpress.com blog follows. Also, several of my books are also on Barnes & Noble for the Nook, so if it’s okay, I have posted my B/N Nook books and ebooks URL on the Bargain books facebook page you mention. http://dorothypaula.wordpress.com/
I’m currently listening to and enjoying Rose Gordon’s e-book “Her Secondhand Groom,” and looking forward to your (Ruth) new books. 🙂

    • I talked to Rose and she said we’re booked up to February. I didn’t even know submissions were coming in like that, but I have you in draft over there so she can post you then.
