1.  Isaac’s Decision – adjusting publishing date and am not sure when

I do have a reason for delaying publication on this book.  I’d like to get it out and then put To Have and To Hold out the next month.  It’s a marketing strategy I’m going to try.  (A friend recommended it to me, and I figured, “Why not?”)  So until I finish To Have and To Hold, I’m not sure when Isaac’s Decision will be out.  To have and To Hold is already at 53,000 words, and I’m estimating 80,000 words total.

2.  Writing has slowed due the Nook blog.

Because of the Nook blog, things have slowed over the past week and weekend.  Though I will say it seems that Rose has been doing the bulk of the work with getting posts up.  My end has been mostly marketing it.  So I’ve been busy contacting places for ads.  That is surprisingly more work than it looks.  LOL  It’s also been my job to get the Christmas Giveaway ready, and I think I’ll be in charge of all monthly giveaways in the future.

So there you have it.  Doing other things can slow down the creative part of the brain, and I’ve learned marketing and helping to organize a blog dries up the creative edge as badly as editing does.  Plus, it’s Christmas break for one kid (others aren’t off until Friday) and that messes up everything on my schedule, too.

That’s about it.  Writing is at a snail’s pace so not much else to report on the works in progress.  😀

  1. Contacting people takes longer than you’d think! I sometimes spend more time in email than I do on a cover!

    • Yep! I’m officially a day behind in emails. *sigh* BTW, I got your email about David’s book and will wait for the info.

I had post Shades of Gray in for a future post and told Rose, but then she said you’d already submitted your book. I thought that was funny. 😛
