Final Interview Tomorrow
Tomorrow, I’ll be doing the final interview. Tonight, I’m too tired. I spent the last weekend and two days running all over the place. I have only gone through two chapters of The Earl’s Inconvenient Wife, so I haven’t even touched the edits my editor did on Her Heart’s Desire. *sigh* I’m frustrated by my lack of practice but keep reminding myself that I need to catch up on sleep so I’ll see what I can do tomorrow.
Tidying Up this Blog
Today, I’ve been trying to tidy up this blog. I’ll probably keep tweaking it through the rest of the week. So if you notice some stuff moving around on here, that’s why. I’m trying to make things easier to find. I have also listed all of my romance books with bios of each book so you don’t have to jump to my website to find them.
Will Be Updating My Website, Too
This is the www.ruthannnordin.com link. I do more over here than there, but I still like having the stagnant site. I’m going to see what I can do about cleaning up the side bar options and the pages.
Giving Everyone a Heads Up that I’ll Probably Drop Future Contemporaries
This doesn’t mean I’m dropping the plot ideas. I still like the whole “pretend to be more than friends” and “bride running off with another man right before the wedding” plot ideas. I have to think of how I can modify them to fit new characters. I can still use Just Good Friends and Runaway Bride as titles. I’m thinking these would be great plots for the Nebraska books.
The contemporaries I already have up will stay, so there’s no need to worry I’ll remove With This Ring I Thee Dread, What Nathan Wants, and Suddenly a Bride. What I am probably going to do, though, is revise Suddenly a Bride so there’s no more lead in to Mark and Lexie’s story. These would be very minor modifications.
I’ve pretty much established myself as a historical romance author and because of that, I think I’m better off sticking with historicals. Hopefully, I haven’t upset too many people.
***
I can’t think of anything else so I’ll end this post here. With any luck, I’ll make some progress on some editing tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
It’s useless to try to do things when you’re too tired. It never turns out well. LOL
