what I would like to share that means the world to me is a small note I found while going thru my Daddy’s affects. It was a note to Momma dating back in the early mid 1960s. He had wrote her a note to explain a small box he gave her with some silver dollars that he had somehow gotten for her. It stated that the treasure chest could hold all type of treasures but the treasure he was given Momma was his undying love and his heart. I thought that was so beautiful and I feel as if I received a treasure when I found that small note. He passed away at the age of 88 last June.
That’s beautiful, Joanie. 😀
What I treasure the most can’t be lost or stolen. MEMORIES are my most precious and unreplaceable treasure. My mom died when I was 14, then my sister (who was my 2nd mom) died 1 week after my wedding and now I have a 3rd mom, my daughter, Samantha! She has helped, bathed, hugged and even crawled up into bed with me during my Meniere’s Disease disability and my brain/inner ear surgery in 2002. I have a kaleidoscope of memories for each unique, caring, loving and big hearted MOM!
This is such a touching comment, Patty. I read it on Facebook and cried.
I would like to enter the giveaway for the ereader Thank You.
I did put you in the giveaway for it from the comments in the Facebook page. I know this is coming to you late. I just now got back to answering blog comments.
It won’t let me make a comment on any of your posts…
Are you having trouble with the form?
If it’s because it’s waiting for approval in the comments, that’s because I had to set it up so that no comments get posted before others unless I approve it first. Sadly, I had to do that because I saw an author friend get slammed hard on her blog by someone in her personal life who didn’t like her. My friend didn’t see the comments right away and it got pretty ugly. Now I set it up to approve comments in case anything like that starts to happen on my blog. I don’t like the idea of people being exposed to something like that.
I did put you in the giveaway entry from Facebook. I add people from both places. 😀
