Moving To Montana
First of all, I’m in the process of moving, which will make it harder for me to respond to emails and comments. I know I don’t get to things right away as it is, but this is going to be even more tricky. I won’t always be near a computer, and I’ll be overseeing the majority of the moving arrangements. I don’t care what they say. A mother’s job is never done. 😀
On the plus side, being in Montana, should be good for learning new things that will inspire more historical westerns. I’m looking forward to it. I see it as a chance to have a new adventure. There will be new things to check out and learn. I expect some will find their way into future books.
All I ask is that you’re patient with me while I make the transition.
This will be out in January
Janet Syas Nitsick and I had to push the date back on this one. She’d dealing with health issues in her family, and I’m moving. So things are just too hectic to do anything right now. I’ll change the status on the “Works in Progress” page so everyone can see it’ll be out in January.
Enchanted Galaxy Series
I’m at Chapter 21 right now. I plan to finish that up today. I’d say I’m about 3/4 of the way through with it. I still expect to finish the full draft on June 20. Then I move onto Book 3 (The Royal Pursuit) on and off. The deadline on Book 3 is July 31.
I haven’t forgotten this one.
I still have this on my list. It depends on how soon things settle on when I can get to it.
I like how you keep everyone informed about your works in progress and possible dates. I still need to do that. LOL
Doing these posts help me stay on track, or at least stay as close on track as possible. I wouldn’t be as close to it if I didn’t make them. These help remind me to stay focused. LOL
Good luck for the both of us moving to new places.
Are you moving, too?
I’ve accepted a job in Germany working with the EEO office of the US Army Civilian Corps. I’m going to be in Weisbaden, near Frankfurt.
Oh wow! That’s awesome! It’d be exciting to check out a new country. Between the two of us, you have a lot more to do to get ready for the move. When are you leaving?
It depends on when they finish my background check and give me my report date. I’m hoping to hear something this week or early next, as soon as they get through all the red tape.
I forgot all the red tape. My husband had to go through stuff like that when he was in the military. It was a lot of running around to get stuff done until he had everything in order.
I’m excited for you. It sounds like a great adventure.
I can’t wait! I just hope they get back to me soon. My dad keeps asking “Have you heard from Germany yet?” I’m like “It takes time! And they’re in a different time zone! Chillax!” I love him, but oy vey!
LOL It sounds like he’s more excited than you are. 😀
Or worried. Which with him is often the same thing.
