Crossovers In My Romances

On this page, I will explain where characters who play a part in one series show up in another.

I color coordinated the books in each series to help identify each series better, but if this is distracting, let me know, and I’ll change it.

Also, if I missed anything, feel free to let me know in the comments.

My Regencies

This is an easy one.  All of my Regencies take place in the same “world”.  This means that you’ll find characters from one book pop up in another one as that character fits into the story.

Quick note: Ethan (Lord Edon) and Mr. Christopher Robinson are my two favorite Regency characters, so they show up in a lot of books as secondary characters. To save on space, just remember that Ethan is the hero in A Most Unsuitable Earl and Christopher is the hero in His Reluctant Lady.

My Historical Westerns

This is where it gets tricky.  From time to time, a secondary character in one series will be the main character in another one.   I will give these books in chronological order.  (Some timelines will overlap, so I’ll do my best.)

Here are the books (with important characters listed) that crossover:

Wagon Trail Bride (Pioneer Series: Book 1) – Richard and Amanda Larson are the main characters. We meet Pa and Ma Larson, Sally, Tom, Jenny, Dave, and Joel (from the Nebraska Series) when they were younger. Secondary characters of importance are Jesse Palmer and Laura (from The Marriage Agreement), and Joe Otto (from Groom for Hire).

The Marriage Agreement (Pioneer Series: Book 2) – Jesse Palmer and Laura are the main characters. Secondary characters of importance are Joe Otto and Richard & Amanda Larson.

Groom For Hire (Pioneer Series: Book 3) – Joe Otto and Michelle are the main characters. Secondary characters are Brandon Herman (hero of Forced Into Marriage) and Jesse & Laura (from The Marriage Agreement). There is a very brief appearance of Amanda and Richard Larson.

Forced Into Marriage (Pioneer Series: Book 4) – Brandon Herman and Lokni are the main characters. There is a brief appearance by Michelle and Joe Otto (from Groom For Hire) at the end.

Her Heart’s Desire (Nebraska Series: Book 1) – Sally Larson and Rick Johnson are the main characters. Prominent secondary characters include Ma Larson, Tom (from A Bride for Tom), Joel (from Shotgun Groom), and Jenny (from Eye of the Beholder).

A Bride For Tom (Nebraska Series: Book 2) – Tom Larson and Jessica are the main characters. Prominent secondary characters include Ma and Pa Larson, Joel (from Shotgun Groom), Dave (from Eye of the Beholder), Jenny (from The Wrong Husband), and Margaret (from A Husband For Margaret).

His Redeeming Bride (Nebraska Series: Book 8) – Neil Craftsman and Sarah are the main characters. Secondary characters of importance are Emily (heroine in Isaac’s Decision), Eliza (from Loving Eliza), and Mary Larson (from Eye of the Beholder/To Have and To Hold/Forever Yours).

Forever Yours (Nebraska Series: Book 9) – This is Dave and Mary’s third (and final) book. It features Ma & Pa Larson, along with Richard, Sally, Tom, Jenny, and Joel and their spouses and children. (Think of it as an unofficial epilogue to the Nebraska Series for this particular group of Larsons.)

Loving Eliza (South Dakota Series: Book 1) – Eliza and John are the main characters. There is a mention of Jeremy (hero in Bride of Second Chances). Jeremy is Eliza’s son.

The Bride Price (Misled Mail Order Brides: Book 1) – Sep Wilson and Angela are the main characters. Noteworthy secondary characters are Joel and April Larson (from Shotgun Groom), Owen (from The Wrong Husband), Velma (from The Rejected Groom), and Natalie (from The Perfect Wife).

The Rejected Groom (Misled Mail Order Brides: Book 2) – Anthony (aka Tony) Larson and Velma are the main characters. Tony is one of Richard and Amanda Larson’s twin sons. Prominent secondary characters are Richard and Amanda (from Wagon Trail Bride), Sep and Angela (from The Bride Price), Mark and Natalie (from The Perfect Wife), and Ben (from The Imperfect Husband).

The Perfect Wife (Misled Mail Order Brides: Book 3) – Mark Larson and Natalie are the main characters. Mark is one of Richard and Amanda’s twin sons. Perfectly Matched (Husbands for the Larson Sisters Series: Book 2) – Patricia Larson and Jim are the main characters. Patricia is Tom and Jessica’s second daughter. Boaz’s Wager (Montana Collection: Book 2) – Boaz Grady and Eva Connealy are the main characters. Eva is also featured in Suitable for Marriage, Daisy’s Prince Charming, and Isaac’s Decision). Prominent secondary characters are Mitch and Heather (from Mitch’s Win), Greg and Patty (from Patty’s Gamble), and Rachel Larson (Dave and Mary’s daughter from the Nebraska Series).

Patty’s Gamble (Montana Collection: Book 3) – Greg Wilson and Patty are the main characters. Prominent secondary characters are Mitch and Heather (from Mitch’s Win) and Boaz and Eva (from Boaz’s Wager). This book overlaps with Boaz’s Wager in the timeline of events.

Daisy’s Prince Charming (Husbands for the Larson Sisters Series: Book 4) – Daisy Larson and Otis are the main characters. Daisy is Tom and Jessica’s fourth daughter. Otis Mills, the hero, made a brief appearance in Boaz’s Wager. Prominent secondary characters are Tom and Jessica (from A Bride for Tom), Eva and Boaz (from Boaz’s Wager), Erin and Alex (from Suitable for Marriage), Nelly and Val (from Nelly’s Mail Order Husband), and Patricia (from Perfectly Matched). Shane’s Deal (Montana Collection: Book 4) – Shane Taft and Madeline are the main characters. Prominent secondary characters are Eva and Boaz (from Boaz’s Wager) and Rachel and Herb (who were also secondary characters in Boaz’s Wager).

Bride Of Second Chances (South Dakota Series: Book 3) – Jeremy Graham and Jane are the main characters. Jeremy is the son Eliza had to give up for adoption. Prominent secondary characters are Eliza and John (from Loving Eliza) and Brian and Lucy (from Bid for a Bride). Jacob Larson (son of Dave and Mary Larson from the Nebraska Series) makes a brief appearance in this book.

Falling In Love With Her Husband (standalone book) – Todd Brothers and Ann are the main characters. This has Kent Ashton as the villain. Kent is the hero in Catching Kent. Also, there is a brief mention of Jake Mitchell from An Inconvenient Marriage (Virginia Series: Book 3) in here.

An Inconvenient Marriage (Virginia Series: Book 3) – Jake Mitchell has a brief encounter with Todd Brothers (hero in Falling In Love With Her Husband) and Todd’s father.

Kent Ashton’s Backstory (standalone novella) – Kent is the main character. This isn’t a romance. It was written by request from someone who wanted to know why he acted the way he did in Falling In Love With Her Husband. This led to me wanting to write his romance, which is Catching Kent.

Meant To Be (time travel from present to the past) – The main characters are Ted and Megan. This is a standalone book, but I liked the secondary characters, Penelope and Cole so much that I wrote A Chance In Time. While writing A Chance In Time, I introduced Woape. I wanted to know how she got pregnant with a white man’s child, so I wrote Restoring Hope, and that led to the Native American Romance Series.

Restoring Hope (Native American Romance Series: Book 1) – Woape and Gary are the main characters. Prominent secondary characters are Chogan and Julia (from Brave Beginnings), Onawa and Citlali (from Bound by Honor Bound by Love), and Penelope and Cole (from A Chance In Time).

A Chance In Time (Native American Series: Book 2) – Penelope and Cole are the main characters. Woape (from Restoring Hope) is a secondary character.

Brave Beginnings (Native American Romance Series: Book 3) – Chogan and Julia are the main characters. Prominent secondary characters are Woape and Gary (from Restoring Hope) and Onawa and Citlali (from Bound by Honor Bound by Love). There is a brief mention of Ann and Todd Brothers from Falling In Love With Her Husband toward the end of the book.

Bound by Honor Bound by Love (Native American Romance Series: Book 4) – Citlali and Onawa are the main characters. Prominent secondary characters are Woape and Gary (from Restoring Hope), Chogan and Julia (from Brave Beginnings) and Penelope and Cole (from A Chance In Time).

Catching Kent – This is a standalone book. The main characters are Rose Larson and Kent. Rose is one of Dave and Mary Larson’s daughters. Kent originally appeared in Falling In Love With Her Husband and Kent Ashton’s Backstory. Prominent secondary characters are Harriett Larson and Stan Craftsman (from His Convenient Wife) and Mary and Dave Larson (from Eye of the Beholder/To Have and To Hold/Forever Yours).

His Convenient Wife Harriett Larson and Stan Craftsman are the main characters. Harriett is Rose’s twin sister and the daughter of Dave and Mary Larson. Stan is the son of Neil and Sarah Craftsman.
