I have just recently discovered you as I was looking for new authors and found out I actually love Historical Western and Mail Order Bride Western Romances! I see you also have quite a few! AWESOME! I’m not into like the Dukes and the my lady historical type romances just the western eras. I have a few of yours and am eager to start reading them so I would like to see some of the your Historical Western Books in the giveaways if it’s not too much trouble. I know you work very hard on your writing and appreciate you very much for the BookFunnel Promos that you do give us (This is where I discovered you). I have The Convenient Mail Order Bride, Nelly’s Mail Order Husband, Boaz’s Wager, The Outlaw’s Bride, Loving Eliza, Restoring Hope, The Bride Price, The Purchased Bride, Wagon Train Bride. The Western Romance is what I have found out that I love to read. I even have a couple of Viscount and earl Historical Romances but that’s not really my genre. Thank You so very much for your books. They are much appreciated. Hope you have a great New Year. Hopefully a BIG fan. LOL

    • I’m glad you reached out and said hi! First, I would like to thank you for letting me know you discovered me through the BookFunnel Promos. It always helps to know if something I do is reaching people. I’ll be sure to renew my BookFunnel membership when it comes up this year.

To address your thoughts on the westerns, I already had a request to put The Outlaw’s Bride (Book 1 of the Wyoming Series) up in a promo from a person who loves the series. I’m going to run that book with the second book in the series, The Rancher’s Bride (Book 2 of the Wyoming Series). I’ll put both of these up in a March promo. I feel like I should add The Outlaw’s Bride in case other people don’t know about it. I’d hate for them to read Book 1 without being able to go right into Book 2 since Book 1 does leave things hanging in the air in regards to where one of the character’s child is. I don’t typically end things open like that with a book, but this particular series had to cut things off at that point. As a rule, I don’t like cliffhangers. So wait to read The Outlaw’s Bride until I can get The Rancher’s Bride up in the promo.

One book that I think you might enjoy since you like mail order brides is Eye of the Beholder. While in a series, this can be a read as a standalone. I actually wrote that one before any of the other books in Nebraska Series. (When I began writing romances, I thought I’d run out of ideas after I wrote a few books. Little did I know the ideas would keep coming.) I will look to run Eye of the Beholder in April.

My particular favorite of the mail order brides (besides Eye of the Beholder) is The Bargain Mail Order Bride. It’s Book 4 in the Chance at Love Series. Would it bother you to read books out of order? The Convenient Mail Order Bride is a good lead up to that since the heroes in Book 1 and Book 4 are half-brothers. I think if you just read those two, it would be okay. I have a side plot with the hero of Book 4 in Books 2 and 3, but it has nothing to do with romance. It’s more of a “who killed the hero’s wife” kind of thing. If you’re okay with me putting up Book 4, I will do that in May. Let me know your thoughts.

Again, thank you for reaching out to me. If you end up liking any of the Regencies, let me know, and we’ll see if there’s a certain plot type you enjoy that might be to your liking. I didn’t set out to write so many Regencies. My first love is the historical westerns, but I had a friend who wrote Regencies that I enjoyed enough to try my hand at one. Then I became attached to the characters. So really, it was the characters that kept me going, rather than the genre itself. 🙂

Okay! Sorry was having trouble getting this through to you so I guess 4th time is a charm so hon I’ll keep it short. lol Thank You for the cliffhanger notice I do not mind reading books out of order. I look forward to reading all your books including the regencies. You are one of my new favorite authors and I’ll eventually read all your books! Thank You

    • I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems commenting. My direct email is ranalaska@yahoo.com. That might be easier. I used to allow comments without having people log into the site, but I received so much spam in the comments section that I had to change it. It sucks because this method makes it harder for people to reach out to me. Thanks for reaching out!
