Tagalong Bride (Love Under Desert Skies: Book 1)

This is the first book in a brand new series that takes place in Arizona. I felt it was time to explore a new territory, and taking trips through the Desert Dome at the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium piqued my interest in “spending” time in an Arizona desert. Why Arizona? I took a trip to Phoenix years ago to a writer’s conference where I spent time with some author friends. Thinking of that time brings good memories. Arizona has a sweet spot in my heart.

This series will feature all new characters. It’ll be fun to see what develops from this.

Here is the description:

When Lucas Reid’s father died and left his family with a lot of debt, Lucas had no choice but to find a wealthy heiress. The problem? He isn’t the least bit attracted to her. He’s not made of stone, but he can’t fathom how he’s going to manage to consummate the marriage. Thankfully, word comes that his sister is missing somewhere in Arizona. This gives him the perfect excuse to head out right away.

Gail Patterson has been secretly in love with Lucas Reid for as long as she can remember. She even held off on marrying other men in hopes he might one day propose. Certain her new husband doesn’t want to go all the way to the desert without her, she packs for their adventure at once.

In this cute, and sexy, romantic comedy, two people who’ve never traveled out west or heard of the haunted canyon will find that there’s no better place for a honeymoon than one that forces you to be together to stay alive.

This isn’t on pre-order yet.
