Click on the links below for more information on the series you’re interested in learning more about. I tried to arrange them according to time period. The events in the Pioneer Series happens before the events in the Nebraska Series. Some of these overlap.
I do put characters from one series into another since in my mind all of these books take place in the same world. It just depends on whether the character enhances the story or not.
Pioneer Series
Wyoming Series
Nebraska Series (aka Nebraska Historical Romances)
~~*~~*~~
This series features the Larson family. Dave Larson is my most popular hero to date.

This series features the Mandan Indians in North Dakota. “A Chance In Time” is more of a 1.5 novella. The characters, Penelope and Cole originally showed up in Meant To Be (a standalone novel).

When will you write the next book in Montana Seris?
I really loved them all so far
Can’t wait for more.
Thank you, Susan. 🙂 At this point in time, I have no plans to write Shane’s Deal. We’ll see what the future brings, but right now I have other books that are higher up on the list to write.
I have recently discovered your books and love them I understand how hard it is to listen to your characters especially if more than one sometimes feel like their screaming at you lol I’ve wrote but never had the courage to publish mine I will definitely keep checking to see what everyone is up to think you for all the enjoyment and I will definitely keep telling my friends about your books my sister in law just started one
Thank you, Veda. Characters definitely have a way of making their wishes known. 🙂 Mind if I ask what’s holding you back from publishing? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to. I know some things are private. 🙂
I’m really not sure how to get started my mom wrote in college and a teacher stole a story of hers I think it’s the publishing itself that makes me nervous that and grammar lol I still write have been since I was 10 Got note books full of ideas and characters, short story’s, and a few noverels never really I guess got a chance to send them in. My husband suggested going on line to find a place to help but overwhelmed with finding the right one and not getting my story with someone else’s name on it. I really do love your books and can’t wait to read them I read about 1 sometimes 2 a night insomnia lol. Thought having kids would end that na just made it more sensitive well I don’t want to bother you too much. I’m a talker by nature.
Considering your mom’s teacher stole her story, I can see why you’re afraid yours will get stolen, too. Do you live in the United States? Over here, we have the US Copyright Office that can help protect you. It doesn’t mean you’ll never have to worry about a book being stolen. Sadly, I’ve had to deal with it myself. I had to report a DCMA (it’s a takedown notice) to Amazon to report the theft. They were good about removing all but one book. I believe it was eight total. I ended up having to talk to a copyright lawyer who called up Amazon on my behalf to get the last book removed.
I’m not saying all that to scare you. I’m just saying that there are ways you can help protect yourself if this kind of thing happens. (Most authors never deal with this, thankfully.) Sometimes knowing there are things you can do helps to get over the fear. There’s nothing worse than feeling helpless. I won’t say the fear will go completely away, but it can get easier to take the risk. There’s a risk in everything we do. And I understand why the stories are especially worrisome. They are a part of you because you created them.
A possible idea is to publish one thing and see how it goes, but do it when you’re ready. You don’t want to push yourself before you’re ready. I’ve rushed into things in the past before I was ready, and I always regretted it.
About the grammar angle, I know a good editor who isn’t expensive I can recommend to you if you need someone to look things over. I rely on her when I’m not sure about some grammar rules. 🙂
Think you so much yes I’m in the U.S. I think I will do a little more research before I give it a try I think I’ll pray about some courage too normally I’m not a coward but it will be a big step think you though for taking the time and replying it really means a lot that you did
Oh, definitely take your time. Courage takes time to build up. Given your mom’s experience, I can see why you’re hesitant to put your work out there. Be good to yourself and take as long as you need to. 🙂
Wow….I just read eye of the beholder… its a beatiful work of literary skill wonderfully expressed….I am a beginner in writting currently working on a novel about heroine addiction….any advice?
First, thank you very much for the wonderful compliment! 😀
Second, the only advice I can think of is to immerse yourself in the heroine’s shoes. Imagine what it’s like to be her. What led her to the addiction? How does she feel when she takes the drug? How does she feel when she’s in withdrawal? What are the physical and emotional things she goes through? Some research on the withdrawal physical symptoms could be helpful so you know you’re on the right tract, but I think that the key is to become your heroine and fully engage in the process of the story with her. 🙂
Love, love, love the Larsons!!! Seriously, can’t get enough of your books.
I’m glad to hear that because I want to write more of the Larsons in the future. 😀
Thank you so much!!!
What ever happened with “Shane’s Deal”?
I’m happy to say I finally got the right starting point for it. What was setting me back was the opening scene. I need that in order to write a book. (I know that probably sounds weird, but I can’t figure out what the characters are like or what the characters will do until I’m writing the story. I can’t start until I have the opening scene.) Right now, I’m only heading into chapter 2, so depending on how long the story will be, I’m not sure if it’ll be out at the end of this year or early next.
Which book is Neil Craftman’s Happy ever after?
That is His Redeeming Bride. 🙂
Where can I buy “The Mail Order Bride’s Deception?” I cant seem to find it on Amazon. Thanks.
Here’s the link in the US store. https://www.amazon.com/Mail-Order-Brides-Deception-ebook/dp/B00JYEQYIA I don’t know where it is in other countries. Thanks for asking!
Do you know when you’ll update the page with the list of Larson books? Or your Crossovers page? I love the Nebraska Historical Series, the South Dakota Historical Series, and the Marriage by Scandal Series and would love to read more in their expanded universes but the Crossovers and Larson books pages don’t seem to have all of them on there.
You’re the first person who mentioned those pages. I didn’t think anyone was looking at them, so I stopped the updates. I just made the updates this morning. Thanks for letting me know they’re being used!

If there’s anything else I’m missing on this site, please let me know.
Thanks for letting me know the series that you enjoy. I always love hearing what people like. 😀
