Nelly’s Mail Order Husband (Husbands for the Larson Sisters: Book 1)
Coming September 28!
Valentine Silverton has enjoyed comfort and luxury his entire life. Then, all at once, the family fortune vanishes, and he’s a pauper. The only recourse he has is to find a wealthy heiress. But he doesn’t want to just find just any wealthy heiress. He wants to find one he can fall in love with. Since there are no suitable prospects in his area, he takes his friend’s advice and becomes a mail-order husband.
Nelly Larson grew up on a farm, and she loves everything about it. She loves the life so much, in fact, that she got her own homestead. The last thing she wants is to be strapped to one of the men in town who think her place is in the kitchen. She’s going to keep her independence, and keeping her independence will require her to avoid marriage at all costs.
Nelly’s sisters, however, can’t believe Nelly will truly be happy if she doesn’t get married. Romance, after all, is one of life’s most wonderful experiences. When they come upon Valentine’s ad, they know he’ll be perfect for her. So they take matters into their own hands and answer his ad on Nelly’s behalf.
Valentine thinks Nelly is the one answering his ad, and at once, he’s intrigued by her. He has no idea what a homestead is, but he assumes that a young woman who owns land and runs her own business must have lots of money. Excited, he runs off to Omaha to marry her.
The day comes when the two meet, and it’s at that time they realize they’ve been set up. Since Valentine has no money, he can’t leave Omaha. He has to marry Nelly. Even if she doesn’t have much, she has a place to live and food to eat. In exchange for marriage, he promises Nelly he won’t hinder her independence. Thankfully, she agrees to marry him.
But Valentine kind of likes Nelly, and he’s determined to show her that some things are worth giving up total independence for…and love just happens to be one of them.

(Dave and Mary Larson’s Third Romance Story)
Coming November 2!
What happens after the happy ending?
Usually, once the characters have their happy ending, there’s no more to say to their story. With Dave and Mary Larson, however, Eye of the Beholder was just the beginning. To Have and To Hold was the continuation. Forever Yours will offer the conclusion to their romance.
Up to now, Dave has always been a pillar of strength, and time after time, he’s helped Mary overcome her insecurities. But even the strong have moments of weakness…
After falling off a horse, Dave is unable to do the things he’s used to. He has to sit around and watch while everyone does things he used to take for granted. Worse, his older brother turns into a celebrity in town when the newspaper takes a sudden interest in him. When Dave thinks of what he has, it doesn’t seem like he’s accomplished much of anything at all.
What, exactly, is the value of a husband and a father? And how can a wife help her husband when he doubts himself?
This book features Richard, Tom, Sally, Jenny, and Joel and their families.
It is also approximately 47,000 words long.

Coming January 25, 2020
Lillian Christian had a simple plan…
All she had to do was sneak out of Virginia before her brother forced her to marry a man in order to get money. She was nothing but a commodity for her brother to sell, and she wasn’t going to have any part in it. So she answered Charles’ mail-order bride ad and headed for an untamed land where she could take on a whole new identity.
But plans don’t always go as expected…
On her way to marry her intended, a group of masked outlaws descend upon the stagecoach. And they are looking specifically for her.
Mic has a plan of his own…
The last thing Mic Gray wants to do is scare Lillian, but kidnapping her is the only way to stop her from marrying Charles. Mic’s face might be on the Wanted posters, but Charles is the real criminal in town. Only Mic’s lack of money and influence prevents him from proving it. The only way to keep Lillian safe is to become her husband.
But his motives go deeper than that. The selfish part of him wants a wife to ease the loneliness that’s plagued him at his cabin that’s tucked away in the middle of nowhere. More than anything, he longs for the companionship only a wife can bring.
All he has to do is convince her he’s worth marrying.
Can he get her to go with his plan?

Breaking the Rules (Marriage by Design: Book 1)
A proper lady follows the rules. She lets the gentleman take the lead. She obeys her chaperone. She is soft spoken and careful in everything she says and does. She doesn’t intrude into a gentleman’s business. And she most certainly doesn’t become the object of scandal.
It’s too bad for Mr. Morris that Miss Lilly Lowell isn’t a proper lady.

The Duke’s Secluded Bride
(Marriage by Fairytale: Book 5)
(Note: This description is a work in progress)
Most gentlemen wait to get married because they want time to enjoy being a bachelor before taking on the responsibilities of a married gentleman. Baldwin Darby, the Duke of Edmondstone, isn’t one of them. The life of a rogue never appealed to him. He’s wanted nothing more than to fall in love and live a quiet and uneventful life ever since he could remember. It wasn’t by choice that he hasn’t married yet. He’s just not very comfortable around ladies, which makes the marriage mart difficult for him.
So when his acquaintance mentions a sister at his country estate who is ready for marriage, he jumps at the chance for an arranged marriage. He’s been told she is extremely shy and that it takes her time to open up around strangers, so he might find her a bit strange when he initially meets her. But this doesn’t bother him. He’s a patient gentleman and can give her time to get used to him.
What he doesn’t count on, however, is just how strange everything is when he gets to the country estate. There were many things his acquaintance had left out, and it’ll leave him wondering if he made a mistake in marrying a lady without getting the chance to know her first.
*This is loosely based off the Rapunzel fairy tale.
